We had been planning to stay in another tree house bungalow, but the owner’s brother found us and brought us here instead. It was a pretty unusual experience. The rooms are very basic, just as pictured, with a fan in each, but the internet worked surprisingly well. It’s super cheap and not too hard to find. Don’t come if you’re afraid of heights. The toilets are separate from the rooms and basic: one squat toilet and one western toilet without a lid. I don’t think toilet paper is provided. You could probably get better located accommodation for the price, but I don’t think you’ll find another tree house.

It gets hot on Nusa Penida, so not having AC was the one drawback, though that’s to be expected in a tree house. Still, I had a great time here. It was my first time sleeping in a tree house and a fun experience. There’s an outlet and a fan in the tree house, plus WiFi that’s very fast in the common area.

A cozy, unusual spot if you’re after something different. My childhood dream of sleeping in a tree house finally came true! We had a scooter and mosquito spray, so getting into town and avoiding insect bites weren’t problems. Without your own transport, I guess reaching town could be a bit difficult.

My first stay in this kind of place, and it was lovely. The tree house is simple and rustic, but really fun. You’ll need a scooter to get there and get around, though you can rent one at the pier.

The sunset gave the place a particularly nice feel, and the whole spot is unique. The staff are great, and there’s WiFi. They only have single beds. As I understand it, they also arrange tours and travel through Diskusi Travel, which you can find on instagram. I loved the experience.
