Cityzen Renon Hotel

The room was very large and had enough light, and the staff were lovely. Hot water was plentiful and worked great. The downsides were a toilet covered in mold, towels that had lots of dirty marks even after washing, and a room setup that seemed meant for someone over 170 cm tall.

It was an affordable single room and I had a very pleasant stay, though there were some inconveniences. The bathroom had no sink, and reaching the outlet beside the bed meant lying flat to get under the little table on the left. There was no fridge or drinking water supplied, so I had to buy water outside or from the hotel. The location was handy, with lots of small food and grocery shops within walking distance, and the Royal Thai Embassy only five minutes away on foot. The staff were really helpful and kind, even lending me a laptop adapter for free. The AC was great, the bed comfortable, and toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and conditioner were provided.

There were ants in the bed, blood and hair on the sheets, and mold on the pillows. The place smelled of cigarettes and mold. I've got a pretty high tolerance, but this was on another level. A hotel across the street costs the same and has clean rooms.

Right in the middle of Denpasar and very cheap. Our room was huge, with a kettle and tea-making setup. The only issue was the Wi-Fi, which kept dropping out for no reason.
