De Abian Villa & Spa

The package with a free meal was a plus, but the visit was a mess. The massage itself wasn't good, and the whole experience left me not wanting to come back. They called it a two-hour massage, though it wasn't two hours of massage: about 30 minutes of massage, an hour of scrub, then a bath until the time was up. The technique was different from the other spas I've tried. Getting started took ages. The receptionist wasn't welcoming, and I waited almost 10 minutes because they were still preparing the room. In the first room, the AC wasn't on and they said the remote was missing. I was moved to a second room, where the AC worked but the room still wasn't ready. After nearly five more minutes, they began the treatment with a foot wash while I was naked. The therapist said the bathtub couldn't be used and suggested I shower in another room after the massage. I was naked, so going outside to shower made no sense 🙁. Then they moved me to a third room because of the same AC problem.
