Diana Hotel

I arrived to find they had no room, even though I’d booked and prepaid through the official site. Completely unbelievable. Don’t book here. If you do anyway, get there very early so you can check whether they actually have a room. The email confirmation meant nothing in my case. He told me to ask Oyo for a refund.

We stayed four days. The room and beds were okay, and it was very cheap, but it wasn’t very clean. There were spider webs and dirty walls. The bathroom may put some people off: you shower with a bucket, and flush using a small bucket or a hose. We had prepaid reservations at diana 2, but when we arrived they said they were fully booked. Communication was really bad, and without Google Translate it was hard to manage at diana 1 and diana 2. The people at diana 1 were actually really nice, unlike at diana 2. The big problem was sleep. The shared sitting area was in the middle of the hotel, and staff talked there late at night or watched shows on TV. The rooms have no sound insulation, so you hear everything. Book somewhere else if you want a good night’s sleep. The location is good, but you should rent a scooter.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It was very dirty, and check-in took me 30 minutes.

This isn’t even an OYO anymore. Oyo’s app booking scammed me. When I arrived, the place wasn’t OYO at all. Never trust OYO.
