I walked in, then walked straight back out. I wish I’d never booked this place. From the minute I arrived there was a choking smell of cigarette smoke and mould, strong enough to feel like a health hazard. The property was filthy and neglected, nothing like the photos or description, and I felt uncomfortable when staff seemed to be watching my belongings as soon as I entered. They showed me three rooms, all disgusting, with visible mould, dirty bathrooms, questionable locks, and no advertised fridge in mine. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room, it just moved stale, dirty air around. Staff were drinking, partying, and playing loud music just outside guest rooms, as if it were a backyard gathering rather than somewhere people pay to sleep. I asked for a refund right away and got the runaround. They offered to move me to another property, then said it was full. The property emailed a phone number with a digit missing, so I couldn’t call. It feels like the non-refundable policy is there so they can keep your money once you see how bad it is and leave. It looked like an abandoned motel in a slum, and I wouldn’t trust my belongings there for a second. I booked somewhere else after one night just to get out. Between the black mould, smell, noise, and lack of professionalism, I don’t think this place should be operating. Save yourself the stress, time, money, and risks to your belongings and health. Book somewhere else.
