Quiet place, very good location, friendly staff, perfect service and breakfast. Very nice homestay, and really grateful to the staff.

We were disappointed. When we arrived around 10 PM and asked the price, they quoted more than the rate shown on the apps. Then at 11 AM the next morning, someone knocked on our door to ask about cleaning the room. That felt rushed and unwelcoming.

The location is very good, and my booking couldn't be refunded, so I stayed for a second night even though I wanted to leave after the first. I wish I hadn't. The mold made the room feel gross and uncomfortable. I've stayed in plenty of guesthouses in Bali, so I don't have especially high standards. On that second night, I returned to find an email from my bank saying someone had tried to make purchases over $3k USD with my debit card. My bank card was missing from my wallet. I'd left it in my locked room, and the door was still locked when I got back. Clearly someone with a key had gone through my things and taken it. The bank locked the card, thankfully, but now, as a woman traveling alone, I had no way to get cash from ATMs. The price isn't worth having things stolen, and I wouldn't trust the owners or staff. There were also shouting matches in the public areas on my first morning, with some drama between staff and other guests. I'd steer clear of this place.

The family and staff were friendly and very focused on looking after guests. I rented a bike through them for a very cheap price, and after checkout they let me shower when I came back from the beach. The beach is only about a 7 minute walk away, so the location was perfect. I booked a private room with its own bathroom for 3 nights. It was basic, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked. They cleaned only once and didn't change the towel. For the price, it was very good.
