The bathroom and bedroom were both filthy, and the toilet didn't work. I found a cockroach under the bed, with cobwebs still on the ceiling and around the bathtub. The pillows and bed were visibly dirty too. The actual hotel looked nothing like its nice photos. I've traveled internationally, and staying here left me with a bad impression of Bali.
I left my bag at the hotel overnight, but I couldn't get back in myself. On the first night I returned at 11:45 and found the gate shut with nobody on patrol, so I pushed it open. The next night I was back earlier, at 11, and it was locked. I knocked and called out for about 20 minutes before giving up. I came back the next morning to check out and complain, and the receptionist said they lock the gate because the area isn't safe. I repeat, it isn't safe here. I was supposed to stay two nights, but didn't. The price is low; cleanliness gets 3/5.
The front looks nice, but the inside is really dirty. The bathroom was disgustingly bad, with no hot water and a broken toilet flush. There was just one dirty bucket of water and a scoop, and I couldn't tell whether they were meant for showering or flushing. I can't call this a hotel. Even one star is too generous.
The room was nice, but we didn't get the Wi-Fi or bottled water that Agoda lists. There aren't any facilities.
It was very cheap, which is a plus. The hostel is far from everything, though that's part of what makes it feel authentic. My room didn't even have toilet paper.
