Mona Homestay

The room was clean, there were no bug problems, and the AC ran quietly and well. The shower came with shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast was pretty basic and the same each day, so a wider selection like other hotels offer would be nice. The place is tucked into a small alley beside a main road, which made for a very quiet setting. A nice restaurant and a scooter rental place are just a few minutes away. Our friendly host was there whenever we needed information or help arranging something. He kindly allowed a late checkout and kept our luggage safe for a few hours until we left for the airport.

A budget friendly choice for a short visit, with a great location, a nice host, and a good price. Breakfast is included, and there's a fridge in the room, AC, and a fan. It's basic accommodation, though: the WiFi sometimes cuts out, and the place was a bit dirty.

The host was kind and helped with our requests, including arranging an early breakfast. The location is near the market, stores, and main road, but it's quiet enough to rest well. Unfortunately, our room was dirty and smelled bad. The shower and fridge were also very dirty, and there were dead flies outside the door.

The simple breakfast was good, and I appreciated having complimentary tea and coffee facilities plus water to refill my bottle. That was a helpful touch and meant I didn't need to keep buying plastic bottles. My room was spacious and clean, with good AC, hot water, a TV I never used, a decent sized fridge, and a cupboard with hanging space. Kidek (I'm sorry if I mispelt his name) was always friendly and ready to help with a smile. The homestay is peaceful and well located, with several good restaurants nearby and the beach only ten minutes away. This is easily the best homestay I've stayed in. I'd happily recommend it and hope to return.
