The toilet and wash area smelled of urine, with flies everywhere, and there were blood spots across the bed and walls. Dust covered both the floor and the interior, and cigarette butts were just lying around. The mirror was cracked and covered in greasy handprints. I couldn't bear to get closer or touch anything. I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I wasted money and time panicking because I didn't stay the night, I left and booked another hotel instead.

The staff were friendly, and my 200k per night included breakfast, such as fried rice or fried noodles brought to the room. The hotel feels old, but it was comfortable enough. The furniture and toilet were dated, though they still worked fine.

The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the bellboys were great, though there wasn't a special cart for luggage. Breakfast came in a generous portion and could be brought to the room. There's also a mini market downstairs with lots of useful things. I liked the simple Balinese home feel, but my room had several problems. One floorboard felt loose, as if it might give way. Hot water took a while, the bathtub wasn't very clean, and the bathroom felt slippery with only one doormat. The floor hinge was broken and they didn't repair it.

Customer service was fortunately nice, but it couldn't make up for the room. The bathroom was awful: an open beer bottle in the bottom cabinet made it smell bad, the floor was dirty, hot water took ages, and the toilet seat was badly detached. The TV wouldn't turn on, the desk was dusty, and the limited colors in the room gave it a bad vibe.

The location and room were fine. Service toward local people was just ordinary, and the male staff member on the night shift could have smiled more.
