Construction noise went on past midnight, then roosters woke me at 6 am and the work started again soon after. Workers slept outside near the property at night, and random people who didn't live there kept hanging around. The room was dingy and never cleaned, and it had ants and cockroaches. Hot water didn't work, and the toilet sometimes failed completely. I had to pour water into the tank every time I needed to flush. Nobody ever cleaned my room or even offered. The sheets made my skin itch and made it hard to sleep. Glad that nightmare's over.

Honestly, this was one of the worst places. The toilet was extremely dirty, and there were no toiletries, kettle, or glasses, though the room description said they were included. I had to request towels at reception, and the guy only brought them the next day. They don't speak English, the door was hard to close, and the place wasn't clean at all. The WiFi barely worked either. I won't be back any time soon.

The room was clean, which is the only reason I’m giving it two stars, though that’s a basic expectation. It smelled damp, and the service was bad. When I first arrived, the receptionist ignored me and kept playing a game while I stood at the desk. Check-in was just showing proof of payment since I’d booked directly on the website; he didn’t ask for my ID. Then he told me to follow him, opened the room, and left without saying anything. The location is okay, near the main road. Worst RedDoorz I’ve visited.

For the price, what you get is okay, but the room has a smell and only looks reasonably clean if you don’t inspect it closely. The pool isn’t really usable: there isn’t enough water, and it’s very dirty. They also make you sign a document saying they aren’t responsible for things that go missing from your room.
