Sagara Villas and Suites Sanur by AHM

Villa no. 4 was lovely, though it could use a little updating, and the private pool was big enough. This is a real gem in a great spot, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff made our stay memorable. Kadek at reception was amazing, always smiling and ready to help. Wayan Sri at the restaurant, thanks for the lovely conversations, local knowledge, and top service. Mega, your smile and kindness light up everything around you. Don’t ever change! And thank you to Budi, Ari, Juli, and everyone else whose names I can’t remember for such friendly service. If we return to Sanur, we’ll definitely stay at Sagara.

The suite has its own bathtub and jacuzzi, and the spa gave me the best foot massage. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s not right on the beach, but they provide designated beach beds and huts. Ask reception for a voucher, then look for the Sagara Villas sign. Great for honeymooners.

We stayed in Villa 7 and loved it. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the property was near the beach and coastal promenade, and breakfast was very good. Everything was perfect, and we’ll be back.

I’m confused by some of these reviews. I stayed in the King suite, and it needs maintenance and doesn’t look like the pictures. There was very loud music from a bar at night, clearly audible even with music on in our room and the bathroom fan running. I was really disappointed because this place is supposed to be highly rated. The King suites aren’t worth it. If you want to stay in the same area, I’d choose the Hyatt or Alantarra for a better experience. The villas may be better, but after my stay I wouldn’t come back.
