Resort Seascape Resort & Spa Sanur by iNi Vie Hospitality

The pool area was peaceful, and I liked that it was an adults only hotel. We knew it was a bit out of town, and there’s a shuttle, which we used along with Grab. For a night of rest and relaxation, I think it would be a good fit. We stayed two nights and still ended up going into town a lot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our modern room had a water filter machine, lots of charging plugs on both sides of the bed, a comfortable bed, and good pillows. From our upper level room, we could see the ocean from bed. The blind let in quite a bit of light, though, and mornings outside were noisy. The bathroom sink looked cool, but there wasn’t much space for toiletries, and the shower and toilet were laid out unusually and felt quite open. We ordered breakfast when checking in, and it was good and came quickly. We didn’t eat other meals there because the food wasn’t really for us, though the menu looked fairly priced for the area. There’s a chocolate factory/shop nearby, as well as a jewellery making class.

My first visit to Bali, and I spent two nights in this lovely place. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and I loved the room, especially the bed and shower. Breakfast was great, though I couldn’t eat much because I had a sore throat. The complimentary shuttle around Sanur was handy, and I liked the idea of having butler service on WhatsApp. I’d definitely recommend it to solo travellers or couples.

The main thing I missed was somewhere comfortable to sit and read. There was no lounge area, just the restaurant, the room, or a small enclosed pool space surrounded by four walls. When it rained, there was nowhere to relax. The location was okay, around a 20 minute walk to the beach esplanade, and they provided shuttles. The food and its presentation were easily 10 stars, especially the Japanese restaurant breakfasts and meals. The Balinese staff were humble, kind, gentle, and friendly. Our room was amazing, with a sea view, a bath on the balcony, and every mod con imaginable. I loved Seascape for the rooms, food, and service.

The rooftop Japanese restaurant has great views, and breakfast was delicious, with choices from the menu. Arcello, a nice young man, served us there. The hotel welcomed us with a drink and wet towels, plus a 20 minute shoulder massage. Our room was distinctive, beautifully decorated, well equipped, and felt luxurious. It came with free drinking water, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, Amazon Alexa, and a paid minibar. The balcony bathtub was a real plus, with lovely views over fields and the sea. The pool was good, although it could use some maintenance and updating: the water looked a bit dirty and the paint was peeling. The hotel is on a busy road, so the location isn’t ideal, but they arrange a shuttle around Sanur.
