Turtle Shelter Guest House ended up being one of my favorite places to stay in Bali after four days there. Sanur’s center is right nearby, with Sindhu Beach and ICON Mall about a five-minute walk away and Sanur Harbor around ten minutes away. M Mart is just a minute from the guest house, and there are plenty of food choices around. The building doesn’t look much like a guest house from outside, but inside it’s beautiful and just like the photos. My room was tidy and very clean, the bathroom was spacious and spotless, and the lighting was bright. There was Wi-Fi, a fridge, and two bottles of mineral water each day. The staff were kind and helpful. I asked to switch rooms for the next day, but I was in Nusa Lembongan and couldn’t move my bags myself. They kindly took everything to the new room I wanted, which I really appreciated. Great value for the price, with good facilities, a clean pool, and an amazing location. I highly recommend it and would stay again when I’m back in Sanur. Thanks for a great stay.

A comfortable bed and a very clean place, in a great spot near Sanur beach and lots of cafes and restaurants. This affordable stay was a pleasant surprise, and I’d definitely come back.

The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering, and the pool was lovely on a hot day. We also liked having a fridge to keep our water and soft drinks ice cold. We didn’t try the breakfast, though the couple next to us had some and it looked yummy. We went to Good Massage 2 down the road twice in a week, and the massages were fab. We loved staying here. It’s super clean, about five minutes from the beach, with some adorable places to eat nearby. A great budget-friendly option.

I stopped here to rest for a while before heading to Nusa Penida. The room was clean and had both hot and cold water. I left my wallet behind, and the host texted me so they could return it. I’m very grateful.

The main problem for us was the bar next door playing VERY loud music until just after midnight. Not ideal when you need sleep before an early tour. The hotel is a short, straight walk from the beach. Rooms are nice and new, but small, with no floor space to open a big suitcase. The pool area is pleasant but small. The turtle cafe at the front serves good, cheap food, though they only take cash.
