My three-day stay was disappointing. The shower pressure was very low, and in the mornings the pool was used for kids' swimming lessons, so expect noise. There's no gym, despite it being advertised.

This is in a residential area in northern Denpasar, and it's easy enough to reach, though some of the roads are in pretty beaten-up condition. The guest house is reasonably priced, with spacious rooms cleaned each day. Water service could be better at peak times, around 7 to 10 AM. Breakfast was OK, but we had only five choices during our stay. There are pools for both kids and adults, coaching, a gym, and a futsal centre.

I was there for my child's swimming lesson, since Umah Bali Suites shares an area with MU sports Club. The pool is clean, well cared for, and nicely designed. I especially loved the atmosphere at MU Cafe, where there's a proper place for parents to wait. It's the closest swimming pool to my area.

We couldn't sleep all night because of bed bugs. The sheets were disgusting, stained with blood and sweat, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. We had already paid for five nights before staying, sadly. Don't be fooled, this was the worst hotel of my life.

Thanks, Made, for a wonderful afternoon and great value! He picked me up punctually from my hostel and took me to the Balinese cooking class. He's a great host, patient cook, and full of useful information. We cooked a feast, including banana dumplings for dessert, then got all the recipes to make it again at home.
