Even with a good deal, I expected the usual OYO standard I've had at other stays. The app pictures made the deluxe rooms look clean and nice, so I booked two, but in person they weren't clean. There was dust on the floor, a cobweb in a corner, and the bed was on the floor with terrible springs. The bathroom was dirty, with lots of hair in the drain, and ants on the wall meant I couldn't hang up my towel or clothes.

If you're passing through Secang on the main road between Magelang and Semarang, kopi klotok is a must try. It's a little gem.

It's a not too expensive cafe, but the menu of food already set out on the table is too limited.

The exotic interior and delicious rural food bring back memories of the countryside.

Fresh air, pleasant surroundings, and good coffee.
