Uma Hati Bali

I felt at home here. Agus and his wife Tiny are lovely, welcoming, kind and helpful, and the place is cozy. It's a great choice if you like quiet and want good value for the price. The shared area has a pool, a kitchen with everything needed for cooking, and a washer and dryer you can use for an affordable fee. I liked having breakfast there with views of the fields and jungle, then watching the sunset sky in the evening. The guesthouse is quite far from Ubud and the tourist spots, so having a bike is useful. For me, the location made it easy to reach different areas and natural places without getting stuck in traffic, which happens constantly if you live in Ubud. There are waterfalls nearby, as well as Keramas beach. It's not good for swimming, but nice for a walk or sitting at the warungs; I pinned a video. Keramas Aeropark is another nice spot, with dining in a real airplane where you can sit on its wing. There's also a large park nearby with a free basketball spot. If you enjoy nature and want to explore the island without dealing with big traffic jams, this works well 👍🏻

It's set back from the main road, so the house is quiet, though dogs from nearby sometimes bark. The owners are friendly and always ready to help. They also make tasty, healthy drinking water themselves. The rooms come in different sizes. There's a shared kitchen for everyone on the first floor and a small one on the second. The dining table has a great jungle view, and some rooms have big windows facing it too. There's a shallow pool with loungers, plus a shared washer and dryer. Parking is plentiful and has a surveillance camera.

Agus, the owner, is very friendly. I also appreciated the covered parking with video surveillance, the small pool, and especially having a washing machine on site. It saved me the trouble of taking clothes to a laundromat. The second floor has a beautiful view, and the price is very good for what you get. I really enjoyed staying here.

I just remembered that I'd never reviewed my two years living at Uma Hati 😄. I look back on it with a smile, and I'm grateful to Agus and Tini. The guest house is pretty basic, but it has what you need. The owners are lovely, and honestly, good people I connect with matter more to me than a luxurious villa with people I don't share a vibe with. That's the main reason I stayed so long. Since the rent isn't too expensive, you can also put more time and money toward exploring beautiful Bali. There's a lot to do and see there 😌.
