The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Sleep was another matter. Bars roughly 100 metres away play drum and bass late into the night, loud enough to hear and feel from the rooms. They stay open until the early hours, later than Google says. The owner admitted it usually goes on until 2 a.m., but that isn’t mentioned in the listings. This was possibly the worst accommodation I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay in. If you value sleep, don’t stay here.

The garden and pool are lovely, and there are only about four cabins. Staff were super helpful and breakfast was delicious. Set around 100 metres back from the coast, the quiet location is a real plus when some bars get noisy at night. The place is clean, tidy and stylish without feeling too boutique-y. Thank you!

The resort feels private, with only five villas, even though it’s near the beach and Gili Air’s busier area. We loved the large comfortable bed, artistic room decor and thoughtful extras, including sarongs, kimonos, toothbrushes, face masks and sanitary products. The staff were fantastic and arranged quality bicycles at a fair price. There’s also Netflix if you feel like a movie. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great for cooling off or swimming laps, and breakfast is included, very fresh and delicious, though the portions aren’t large. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this traditional-style, arty boutique resort, well placed for the best part of Gili Air. You may hear some party noise from beachside bars.

Aji at the front desk was especially friendly, efficient and professional, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is spectacular, and our room was cozy, comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. The whole resort is clean and well run, with a relaxing atmosphere. The Italian restaurant opens at 6:30 p.m. and the food is incredible. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Indonesia, highly recommend it.
