The rooms felt very private, though they had a faint moldy smell. I still loved my stay at Tipsy Turtle Hostel. The island is pretty quiet otherwise, but Nathalie kept encouraging us to join in the many activities during the day. I especially enjoyed Leo's morning yoga classes.

The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly, and I had a very happy Christmas here. There's chill music through the day, which I like, though some more dynamic styles now and then would be nice. The facilities are good overall: ping pong, lots of board games, cold water fountains, free yoga classes, and loads of cats 🐈😍. I bought a hostel T-shirt, but you can get one free if you stay at least 12 days, hehe. The hostel is very social, with different activities every day. The capsule beds are a big plus, but the bed areas could be more practical, for example, with hooks. The showers need better cleaning, as the tiling is completely neglected, and the sink areas too; the rest is super clean. I never saw anyone clean the pool, so I don't know how often that's done. Breakfast is included, but it's the same each day and there's no choice: waffles, which were overcooked, omelet, and fruit. For a drink you can choose coffee or tea. I definitely recommend the hostel.

The place was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious, and the staff and volunteers were genuinely fantastic, friendly, helpful, and full of good vibes. They put on a ton of activities, so meeting people and having fun was easy. I had a great stay and this is one of the best hostels I've been to. Totally recommended!

I loved the bohemian travel look and feel of this hostel, and would count it among my favorite places I stayed during my travels in Indonesia. It's in a great spot next to some lovely beach bars. The friendly staff and volunteers offered yoga every day, and the rooms and toilets were clean. Breakfast is included, waffles and fruit, which you can have before your diving class. Very cool hostel.
