Bask Gili Meno

I proposed to my girlfriend during one of the most romantic dinners we’ve had at Bask, and I’m so glad I chose it for such a special occasion. Jordan, the manager, and the restaurant staff made the setup easy and helped the surprise go perfectly. I’m truly grateful for all their help. We had the seafood package, with snacks, several courses, and dessert. Every dish was well prepared and had its own delicious, distinctive flavors. Afterwards, we spent a while in the hotel’s main area, taking in the music and lovely view over the pool and sea. It was a night to remember, and we’d definitely choose Bask again.

The staff, food, atmosphere, facilities, and snorkeling at Bask all felt special, with a fun, sunny spirit from the team while they were on duty. We had a wonderful upgrade after an air-conditioning issue, and the three-bedroom beachfront pool villa was an amazing place to stay. Manuel, the manager, was constantly on the move barefoot, looking after guests with real care. Huge thanks to him and the whole Bask team. Our younger son had food poisoning in Seminyak before we arrived, so he couldn’t fully enjoy the resort. The staff were incredibly kind and supportive, even bringing guava leaves from the land to help him recover, since there were no guaga tree in the island. We really appreciated that. We’d first planned a week in Bali, including a full week in Seminyak, but gave up two nights there to stay at Bask instead. It was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was a real pleasure: we tried the Margherita Pizza, Chocolate Cremeux, Panna Cotta, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Healthy Mind Juice. Everything was balanced, nicely presented, and well prepared. Not one thing missed the mark. Service was warm and attentive, and the elegant, calm atmosphere made the place lovely for unwinding by the sea. When I last visited in 2022, the property was still under construction. Seeing it now complete was a lovely surprise. It’s one of the newest and most modern resorts on Gili Meno, thoughtfully designed, with charming, refined details throughout. I liked it as soon as I stepped inside and would gladly return.

We spent three nights with friends in the three-bedroom beachfront villa at Bask Resort Gili Meno. It was beautiful, in an amazing location, and the staff were helpful and kind the whole time. Special thanks to hotel manager Jordan for the warm welcome and excellent service. I’m used to city life, but the island felt peaceful and relaxing without being too isolated. Right now, it’s the newest and best property on Gili Meno. Highly recommended!
