Sasak Island Bungalows

For budget travelers, it can work, and the place is walkable from the port. The grounds are mostly quiet, though on weekend nights loud electronic music can go on until 1am. It's a large green property with roomy, high-ceilinged bungalows. Each has a queen bed with a mosquito net, a dresser, a little shelf, and a small front deck with two chairs and a coffee table. The bathroom is open to the trees, but both the shower and sink water are salty and cold. Mosquitoes were everywhere, including the bedroom, deck, and shower, especially around dusk. There was hardly any air circulation. The place has potential, but needs serious upkeep and a deep clean. We found cobwebs all over, even inside the net. Several things were broken: the toilet had no flusher, so we had to reach into the tank; the bum gun nozzle shot off, leaving a high-pressure hose; the fan worked but its broken hinge pointed it at the ceiling. The Wi-Fi was too weak for Zoom or Google Meet, so digital nomads should beware. The drinking water spigot leaked and soaked the floor; a pump they gave us didn't work either, so we poured straight from the 5-gallon jug.
