Two Brothers Bungalows

We didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can only comment on the bungalows. For this price range, they were much better than the places we stayed at elsewhere on Gili Meno. The rooms were clean, the AC was powerful, WiFi worked well, and fresh water was always available, including a gallon in the room. The crew were on hand and helpful. There’s also a little tap by each bungalow entrance to rinse off the sand before going inside, which we really appreciated.

We spent a few nights here and found the room clean and comfortable. The location is good, and the restaurant area is nice, though loud music from Gili T carries over. Breakfast was the main letdown: you get one food choice and one drink, so not both coffee and juice, and extras cost quite a lot. The breakfast we tried wasn’t any better than at other island places, but was about three times the price. We skipped lunch and dinner here as a result.

Being right on the beach made this a lovely base for snorkeling and looking for turtles, and the room had what we needed, especially the excellent air conditioning. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and their fish BBQ was amazing. We had a great stay and would choose Two Brothers again if we return to Meno.

We loved being able to step straight from Two Brothers onto the beach and to the cafe. The family room was clean, with big comfortable beds, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was good enough that we ate there every day, and the team were wonderful with our twin toddlers. A turtle swam by when we walked a few metres to the nearby beach, and even the resident cats were friendly. They helped arrange transport to and from Lombok airport, and the laundry service was very good. Next door, a shop can arrange snorkeling trips, transfers, bikes and other things, and sells nappies too. It was a lovely stay.
