Lisa Homestay

This is a cosy little homestay with just four rooms. My room, bathroom, and veranda were very clean, and the young male staff member was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The power points are low wattage, so using a hairdryer or boiler trips the circuit breaker. Tap water tastes a little salty, and people here use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The location is handy for convenience stores, places to eat, pubs, and the Night Seafood market. It’s also within walking distance of the harbour, and right among the night-time entertainment. You can also book surfing, scuba, snorkeling, and island-hopping trips nearby.

Lisa Homestay was a great choice, and I’d come back. The location was perfect, my room was cleaned daily, and the bathroom was in excellent condition with no mold. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The area is peaceful, but just a couple of steps from the port, market, nightlife, food spots, shops, and ATMs. For the price, it’s really good value. Staff are young, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are simple and very clean, with comfortable beds and good quality linen and towels. Bathrooms are basic but neat, and have what you need, including shampoo, hand wash, and shower gel. I stayed for just under two months, and the staff were amazing. I got to know them during my time there, and they surprised me with a cake for my birthday. They were always super helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day, and it’s very close to the Main Street.
