For work trips, this is a convenient, dependable place in the middle of the business district. The rooms are clean and well kept, and room service arrives promptly. There's a pleasant sit-out area, a small gym, and a meeting room. Lots of food and shopping options nearby are another plus. Breakfast is à la carte rather than a buffet, so expect some waiting. I found the stay comfortable.

The location is my favorite part. Restaurants, cafés, bars, and clubs are all close by, and there seems to be a café or restaurant around every corner. If you want to get around Jakarta on foot without a car, just book a room here and you can walk to lots of places.

We came after work with a few colleagues to use the karaoke room. It was comfortable and convenient, a nice place to unwind after a long day. The waiters, guest relations staff, and receptionist were welcoming and attentive. The karaoke setup needs work. The monitor wasn't running smoothly, and searching for a particular song was frustrating because the interface kept jumping back to its default screen. The LC seemed inexperienced, and maybe a bit young for the job. She said she was born in 2004? She didn't know most song titles, offered little help getting things set up, and wasn't proactive with service such as pouring drinks. My friends eventually asked to have her replaced. #sorrynotsorry There is potential here if a few things improve.

The General Manager was helpful and accommodating. Whayu, their barista, is talented and friendly, and a real asset to the hotel. At reception, they greet you with a big smile and help with whatever you need.
