Arimbi Pejaten Suites

There’s an Alfamart near the hotel if you need something from the mini market. The suite has a big living room with a large mirror, separated from the bedroom, which made it a nice place to stay with family. The room was clean, and the staff were very polite and helpful. It’s a cozy, warm environment that feels like home.

My room was narrow, the bed was placed strangely, and both the towels and cupboard smelled. The sheets were dirty too. I booked the cheapest room from airy, though it came with a welcome pack of two bottles of mineral water, a couple of snacks and chocolate, plus an airy toiletries pack with a small travel pocket and amenities. The high-speed WIFI was nice. The place itself was very nice, authentic and unique, with touches of Javanese culture that gave me goosebumps. I enjoyed the interior details and Javanese wood decoration.

The building is old and looks very different from the uploaded photos. The room was the dimmest I’ve ever been in because the hotel seems to skimp on lighting. The aircon sounded like a motorbike and didn’t cool the room.

For a few days, it’s an okay place. You can walk to the mall, there’s a mini supermarket right next door, and a compound of restaurants across the street. It’s easy to find too. The bed was comfy, but the sheets were stained and they only gave us two thin pillows. The AC took a while to start, though it gave a good breeze. Warm water was unreliable sometimes. They cleaned the room pretty well, though I wouldn’t check under the bed, and left fresh towels every day. I didn’t try the food, but it looked okay. The wifi worked fine, except during an electrical problem while I was there. It was back online after 15 minutes.
