The apartments are where this place falls short. The floors and paint are nothing special, the bathrooms seem like an afterthought, and the windows let in every street honk and shout. Water pools around the badly aligned shower drain, and the directions and unit numbers are just cheap stickers. Electricity and water are marked up, which is annoying but expected. The internet is worse: you're stuck with the building's overpriced, unreliable package, which drops several times a day and can be down for over an hour. Management treats it like your problem, and calling the provider is pointless because the service is tied to the building. Other tenants complain about it too. This is why I'm writing. It isn't luxury, and the management should be embarrassed, though I doubt they care. My advice is to skip the internet package and use a personal modem. The building itself has a lot going for it. It's in a strategic spot, with MRT and bus stops right outside, Busway a 3-to-5-minute walk away, and Bendungan Hilir road as a way out when dealing with the odd-even car rules. Malls, business towers, and restaurants are all around. The polished, clean lobby feels upscale, with smiling staff. The hallways and elevators are air-conditioned. On the 5th floor there's a 29-meter infinity pool with a city view, plus a kiddie pool, jacuzzi, very cold gym, and a bar. You can also order food from the restaurants downstairs to your door or poolside. There are two places to eat, with a third coming: Furusato, a Japanese izakaya with a smoky feel and sake, and Caspar, a Spanish restaurant-bar that turns into a club on weekends. Both are popular and crowded, so getting a table can be hard unless you know someone. As a tenant, you can call in an order and have it brought upstairs or to the pool. Other conveniences include a minimart, ATM, 24-hour reception, security, a praying room, and parking from basement 1 through 5. The location and facilities give the property plenty of glamour, but the units are the weak spot. It still makes a strong impression from the lobby to the pool, but that shine fades once you get inside.
