The room was tidy, though old, and given the price, the lack of attention to detail was acceptable. The soap dispenser released only a tiny amount of soap or other liquid. There’s a swimming pool, a decent gym, and buffet service at Novotel, as well as a swimming pool. The location is strategic, near Dufan and stores. Staff were all polite and attentive, especially GSA and Housekeeping, who were thoughtful about guests’ needs. The first-floor security team (RL) was top-notch. Five-star service.

I couldn't wait to leave. The room was old and musty, with a stench, and there were insects too. The air conditioning in the room was poor, and the gym machines weren't maintained. Some floors were completely shut down, which makes me think business must be bad. Lighting was off in certain areas, and the air conditioning had been shut down even in the corridors leading to rooms, where you could smell mustiness.

We stayed four nights for a veterans basketball tournament. The breakfast buffet's standout for me was the freshly baked sourdough loaf, absolutely delicious and the best I've ever had. I asked the staff, and they said Chef Zihan baked it. Please give them a raise, it was that good!

The location makes it easy to find just about anything you might want, even at odd hours. Rooms are decent, around upper-standard quality, and breakfast covers a good mix of cuisines for different tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with big smiles.

Farhan and Idah at the Front Office made me feel welcome with their warm, helpful service, and Hasan kept my room comfortable and clean. I had a really pleasant stay at Ibis Styles Mangga Dua. The hotel itself was tidy, comfortable, and well located. I'd definitely return.
