The guesthouse has a calm atmosphere and plenty of room for a couple, with a simple modern style. The staff were friendly and professional. The shower pressure could be better, but it’s still sufficient for solo travelers or couples. The cafe kept drawing me back. The Coto Makasar beef soup had a thick broth, tender meat, a little tang and a bit of spice, a great fit for someone with a SEA tongue like me. There’s a wide food selection available until evening. The Siew Mai was fist-sized and went really well with its peanut sauce.

The room was surprisingly roomy and mostly tidy for the price, though I found spots on the sheets. Its layout is unusual: there’s a bathtub in the bedroom, while the toilet and shower sit out on the terrace behind shower curtains. The water wasn’t hot enough for a comfortable soak. The coffee at the cafe was excellent, so I ordered it twice. There’s a Smart TV with Netflix/YouTube and a handy water fountain in the hallway. Staff were kind and accommodating, and the location is good, near Citraland Mall and plenty of restaurants. The WiFi lagged enough to make work difficult, and the thin walls let me hear the neighbors. The basement parking was cramped and very dim. They only provide one keycard per room, but staff will help scan you in if needed. It’s a good budget choice if you can live with a few quirks.

The rooftop swimming pool and other facilities were great. Rooms were quiet and sparkling clean, and the staff were fantastic, always responding. There was a wide choice of excellent food and coffee. HIGHLY recommend!!

The room was clean and simple, nothing special but good, and they got my laundry done in one day. I’d been stuck because of my flight, and they charged me for a late checkout in the evening instead of making me pay for a whole extra night, which was really nice. The area is calm, the employees are very friendly, and the coffee and food were really good.
