Mercure Jakarta Kota

We held an 8-day Master Trainer Training programme at Mercure Jakarta Kota and had a wonderful experience. The meeting rooms were spacious, well lit, and great for interactive sessions. Rooms were comfortable, and check-in went smoothly. Food was consistently delicious, with a good variety of local and international dishes. Coffee breaks were plentiful and always served on time. Thanks to Jeremy, Rahmad, and Fatur from the banquet team for their attentiveness and hospitality, Frans and Kahar for looking after our participants, and Della from the Marketing team for keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. Professional service, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. We look forward to coming back for future events. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. I had a nice, pleasant weekend stay. The parking area is large, and the room was spacious and comfortable enough. One improvement I’d suggest is replacing the TV with a smart TV. I’ll come again next time. Thank you, Mercure Jakarta Kota 👍

The hotel made exploring the city easy, and I found the location close to its best-known cultural and commercial center. My room had a lovely skyline view and quality furnishings, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was kept neat every day, with cleanliness throughout the hotel consistently high. The gym was roomy and had modern equipment for different kinds of workouts. Staff spoke English fluently and were always willing to help. Key-card access and the other security measures made the place feel safe and peaceful. I had a very pleasant stay in December 2025 and would gladly come back.

The lobby looks good, and the rooms have plenty of space, but the service was disappointing. The receptionist often stayed in the back room on his phone when we came down. At breakfast, the egg station worker made a batch of eggs and omelettes, then disappeared, so there was no way to request something custom. The buffet was poor. Asian dishes were lukewarm, and the Western choices were basically toast, margarine, and bright-colored jam that didn't seem to contain any strawberries. There was no butter or yoghurt. I understand dairy can be costly here, but this is supposed to be a polished hotel. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since 1980. A plastic hand-towel rack was nearly falling off the sink, though no hand towels were supplied anyway. The toilet and bidet floor seals were stained, hot water took ages, and the bathtub shower was only a handheld fitting. Anyone over 1.50 metres tall would struggle to stand under it. Accor needs to put money into this property, and it probably needs a new general manager too. In its current state, it's badly hurting the Mercure brand.
