The rice fields around the villa make it feel like you’re right in nature, and the room is lovely, private, and peaceful. Just be open to sharing the space with local plants and wildlife. We spent three days at Villa Mahadevi and felt so welcome and comfortable that we even thought about extending our stay. The team was kind and ready to help, especially Kadek, and Gusti was friendly too. A friend who stayed here with her husband this summer recommended it, and now I’d gladly tell people I know to come here as well. Breakfast was wonderful, and meals, snacks, drinks, and refreshments could be brought right to the room whenever we wanted. The bed was very comfortable, and the new sheets and towels were soft and fluffy. The villa had everything we needed. They also arranged a scooter rental at the accommodation, which was a real help after we arrived late at night in Ubud. Laundry was washed, ironed, folded, and delivered to our room in under 10 hours for a fair price. There are several places within walking distance, which is handy in Bali, and waking up in this beautiful villa felt like a blessing.

Andreas and Gusti helped me with everything I needed, and the stay was unforgettable. It’s such a peaceful, beautiful hidden gem. I loved having no air conditioner, it made the jungle feel more real and special. One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed.

The villa’s design stood out, with local, authentic materials and thoughtful decor that fit so naturally with the surrounding jungle. It was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. Andreas welcomed us as soon as we arrived, while Mona, Kadek, and Seni were warm and attentive throughout. They really made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast each morning was delicious, especially enjoyed by the pool among the greenery and sounds of nature. We can’t wait to return.

You can see the treetops by day and hear the cicadas at night, which makes the place feel like a jungle while still being comfortable, clean, and well served. I especially liked the open-air shower, with natural decor and cool stones underfoot. The bed was soft and clean too. There’s no aircon or TV, but the weather is cool. I liked the sustainable feel and how it made me appreciate nature more. I’d recommend it if you’re after a different kind of Bali stay.

Ubud’s lively center is only a short distance away, while the setting here is quiet and peaceful. The houses are striking, with tasteful, authentic interiors, lovely views, and a jungle-like garden that gives you privacy. Thanks for the memories. I’ll be back.
