Pinx'S Hostel

The room was uncomfortable and poorly kept, and the common areas needed better maintenance. The atmosphere at Pinxs Hostel by kerf felt unwelcoming, with little noise control, so it was hard to rest. Staff barely interacted with us and seemed indifferent when they did. The place felt disorganized and fell short of what was advertised.

The showers and toilets just aren’t good. The blanket was really thin, more like a towel than something to sleep under, so I wouldn’t recommend the place. They leave the front door open all day and night, and mosquitoes get into the common area and then the rooms. I was bitten about 6-8 times each night I stayed. It made things really uncomfortable, especially with one buzzing right by my ear.

After I checked in, there was no remote for the AC. They told us to use a phone app or borrow one from the next room, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. The ceiling in the room also had no proper covering, just BONDES. The electricity ran out of tokens, laundry got swapped, and getting a response took ages. After checkout, the deposit refund was delayed and made unnecessarily complicated. Staff were slow and seemed clueless whenever I asked something. Once was enough for me, I’d look for another place.

I only stayed 8 hours, but the place felt welcoming and really clean. The staff clearly put effort into keeping everything in good shape, and the attention to cleanliness made the stay more comfortable. A good hostel option if you care about hygiene.
