The easiest plus is that it’s close to a mall. Otherwise, my room was a decent size but unclean, with a bad smell and dirty walls. The air conditioner wasn’t cold enough, the service was just average, and Wi-Fi in room 109 on the first floor wasn’t good. The price needs adjusting, and the parking is tiny with no canopy. It feels more like a boarding house than an OYO.

We planned to stay two days, then added four more, and came back again a few months later. At about 200 000 idr, it’s a really good hotel for the price. There’s no breakfast, but there’s a supermarket across the street. Next door are a good laundry, several warungs, a coffeeshop, and a durian seller. It’s a five-minute walk to a busy street, where you can pick up fruit at a good fruit stand, and less than a 15-minute walk to several malls. Our room was clean, with new bathroom fixtures, a good shower, a great bed, a new TV with digital Indonesian channels, and good air conditioning. Ours had no window, and most rooms don’t. The staff were nice and helpful. They won’t enter your room if you keep your key; if you want it cleaned, leave the key at reception and ask. You can also request something specific, like just changing the towels.

We arrived late after booking through booking, only to be told we had no reservation. They showed us the price for booking that same day, which was higher, and we had to pay more to get a room. The sheets weren’t clean, the room was really dirty, there were loads of mosquitoes, and the bathroom wasn’t okay either. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

The room had good facilities, a great bed, a TV, a water heater, a nice bathroom, and everything was clean. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to connect, though I don’t know why. The worst part was the unprofessional staff, a bunch of young men. At 7 am I heard some staff cleaning the hall while chatting, laughing, and screaming so loudly. That might be okay in a market, but this is a hotel where people come to rest in peace and quiet. It’s a shame, because the good facilities are wasted.
