The Dharmawangsa Jakarta Hotel

My husband and I had a lovely stay at The Dharmawangsa. I was still breastfeeding and needed to pump every few hours, then ask the butlers to store the milk in the freezer. Even in the middle of the night, they responded warmly and quickly. The food we tried was all so good. Mas Anto at the restaurant was especially friendly and gave us great menu suggestions based on what we liked. We'd visited Majapahit Lounge for coffee before and had a tour of the hotel's highlights with Mas Arief Abdillah, who told us a little about The Dharmawangsa's history and helped us find places and poses for photos. I was sorry not to see him again this time. Before checkout, we brought our 2-year-old son to play around the hotel. Mba Kinan saw me carrying him and later surprised him with a coloring book, crayons, and a piggy bank. It was such a thoughtful touch, and we really felt the warmth and hospitality.

At 5:00 AM, I woke up to quiet streets and lush greenery, a peaceful side of Jakarta I don't often see. The breakfast choices weren't extensive, but everything offered was exquisite. It's a lovely 5-star boutique hotel. The wooden furnishings made the room feel a little eerie at first, but the bed was so comfortable that I slept soundly anyway.

I lost my ring in the ballroom during a company gathering, and the staff helped me look for it, even late at night. I can't thank them enough. Their hospitality is top notch, the facilities are so well maintained, and the food tastes great. I'll definitely recommend the hotel to relatives and colleagues. I went to a football meet and greet, but staff were cutting the queues and getting autographs. People who had paid couldn't meet their idols. Totally unacceptable, and the staff here were unprofessional.
