Townhouse OAK Bi Executive

The deluxe room was 250k/night for two nights through agoda, and the room was MASSIVE for a 2 star hotel. It was clean and smelled good, with two plugs, a 1.5pk AC, and separate exhaust fans in the bedroom and bathroom. But the bathroom had a persistent odor and an uneven floor, so water pooled near the closet and smells came up from the drains. There was a 100K deposit on arrival, and basics like bottled water, soap, a toothbrush, and a floormat were missing. The windows also aren't proper ones, just frosted glass in the bathroom to tell the time. On weekends, neighbors might be noisy and cigarette smells can seep in from the top vents or next door, even though smoking is banned. The room vent had to stay on, which made the room warm.

This was my first day in Indonesia, and I won't return or recommend this hotel to people I know. Neither the receptionist nor the duty manager seemed to know English, so it was very hard to communicate. I booked a room for three, but was given a bed for two. When we asked for a glass of clean drinking water, they refused, saying water wasn't included in the stay. What rubbish. This is no way to treat a foreigner. The relevant municipal and tourism authorities should take strict action against the hotel for tarnishing Indonesia's name. A very bad hotel, don't even try to enter.

BI Executive Hotel is in Jakarta's Pademangan district, about 1 km from Mangga Dua Square, 1.7 km from Dunia Fantasi, and 3.4 km from Jakarta International Expo. The National Museum of Indonesia is 7.4 km away and Gambir Station is 8 km away. This 3-star hotel has a shared lounge and air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private bathrooms. Rooms have a kettle, flat-screen TV, bed linen, and towels. Some units have a garden view.

The staff and service were great, and it was easy to find food nearby.
