YELLO Hotel Harmoni Jakarta

The price feels way too high for the budget-hotel service you get 😂 Around 800 after tax got me bigger rooms elsewhere in Jakarta with a city view. The bathroom was tiny and short on basics. There weren’t even cups, and the 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash barely bubbled. Breakfast was disappointing for variety, too, with no bubur kacang, pasta, or pudding. By 9, it was mostly leftovers, and refills took long enough for guests to notice. There weren’t any plates left for dessert by then. There’s limited parking, and no lift connects to the lobby. If you’re with an elderly person who can’t walk far or use stairs, this place won’t work well. You can drop them by the front door, but there aren’t many seats while you wait. The receptionist is on the 7th floor, and there’s no bellboy, so I had to carry my own things. They called it “self-service,” which really felt like budget service. The TV is old and doesn’t support screen casting, despite the hotel branding itself as modern and genz-friendly. And only two pillows? That’s laughable 😂

It’s a good deal, especially alongside Vertu, the more upscale version of Yello, and with Ascott behind Yello. The hotel offers great value, though the concierge service needs work. They clearly need more staff to make the service better.

The breakfast buffet had an amazing selection and everything we tried was really tasty. Special thanks to chef Aponk for making us such nice meals. We stayed several nights and also liked the clean, modern room, the lovely view, and the hotel’s good location.

Back at Yello Hotel Harmoni for my second staycation of 2026! I spent three nights here over New Year’s Eve, and came back today to celebrate my bestie’s birthday. They gave us such a sweet compliment, and the stay is always comforting. Kak Sabilla, as always, helped me so well, and Kak michael too. So glad I returned, and I’m sure I’ll be back again! Yello Harmoni is the best!!!
