The water was clear as glass, and the chef’s food was delicious. Such lovely weekend vibes, with a bit of Bali in Jember.

The room was pretty standard, and the towels and sheets were old, though clean. There were also lots of mosquitoes getting in because the homestay is surrounded by a garden, so I had to spend some time hunting them down. Still, the place is lovely, cool, and well cared for, and the staff were quick and helpful. Breakfast had a decent variety, including fried bananas, fried tape, and fried purple sweet potatoes cooked right in the dining area. I’d come back when I visit Jember again.

The grounds and pool are lovely, calm, and well maintained. The restaurant needs more room, especially when groups arrive, since it gets crowded and I had to wait for a seat. The food was okay, but could be better. Overall, I was fairly satisfied.

The staff were very rude, the food was terrible, and the rules were ridiculous. They wouldn’t let my husband swim without a swimsuit. It was overpriced and overrated, and the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
