Only two nights here, but that was enough to fall in love with the place. The family running it made us feel at home, and the food was among the best I've ever had in Indonesia. They connect guests with local guides who love their island, and seem very conscious about offering responsible eco-tourism. If you want to see the coral reef without going to an overcrowded tourist spot, ask about the snorkeling trekking tour. It was a genuine, lovely experience.

I came to Karimunjawa hoping to find somewhere peaceful to recover after losing my voice, and this place was just right. The family running it are so lovely. I'm vegetarian, and they fed me some of the best food I've tried in Indonesia. They were kind and took good care of me. Thank you :)

We stayed three nights and had an awesome time. The food was amazing, and Sofian was such a nice guy, we became friends right away. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. Looking forward to coming back anytime. Thanks for everything!

We booked a room for four two months ahead, but when we arrived they said it was occupied because the other guests had extended their stay. Their offered solution was a bed for four with a duvet on the floor and no mattress. Such a disappointment. They describe the place as being in front of the beach, but it was dirty, neglected, and smelled bad. There was no Wi-Fi, and the staff didn't speak English. That's a big mistake, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. Greetings!
