The room was fairly spacious and comfortable, with AC and hot water. But there were ants all over the room and terrace in the first-floor rooms, and the TV channels were awful. There's no kettle in the room, so I had to ask staff to bring one. The room wasn't made up and no amenities were provided. Staff were the worst, apart from the man who cleaned our room when we first checked in. It's also a bit far from Uluwatu's main road.

For a low budget trip, this place works really well. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is fast, the AC is good, and there's a heater for coffee or tea plus hot and cold showers. Rates are around 100,000 Rupiah, and laundry is 7,000 Rupiah/kilogram. You can rent a motorbike from 60,000 Rupiah/day. It's tucked a little inside the complex but easy to reach, with lots of cheap, tasty halal food sellers nearby.

For Rp175,000, I got a third-floor room in this hotel-style boarding house, facing GWK. It came with a fridge, towels, TV, soap, shampoo, an electric kettle, and a wardrobe. The bathroom has two sinks, plus another one in the shower area, and the AC cools well. There's a pool, and downstairs by reception is a small food and coffee shop.
