I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here. The staff and service were bad, and people spoke rudely and seemed nosy. The rooms were old-fashioned and not clean. The place is far from the main road, and getting there left me with a migraine. Think twice before staying. I'd give it no stars.

The villa staff were really kind and took good care of us. The house was a great place for our group, whether family or friends, and it was very clean and well maintained. Its location couldn't be better, right in front of gorgeous Balangan beach and close to lots of great restaurants.

We stayed for five days, and my children were bitten by bed bugs. The building is dated, though maintained. On our last day, cash was stolen after we left our bags and wallet in the living room. We later found that the caretaker's room has a side door leading directly into the main house. When we confronted them and asked to see the CCTV, they gave us all sorts of excuses. We left very disappointed and with a bitter feeling.

Wahan, who lives at Balangan Beach Villa and helps guests, was friendly, accommodating and especially helpful. She arranged a driver for our trips and even offered laundry for a reasonable extra charge, which made everything easier for our group of seven friends. The villa has five rooms with an elegant, modern feel, and everything was spotless and very well maintained. Its small pool was clean and made a nice place to cool off after exploring. The location in southern Jimbaran was handy for reaching nearby attractions by car or scooter in 20-30 minutes, though the nearby beach itself wasn't what we'd hoped for. The villa was a comfortable, luxurious base, and I'd recommend it for a Jimbaran stay.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, with plenty of warungs and restaurants nearby. The villa worked really well for our 2-3 families, and the rooms were good. The pool was clean, too. Breakfast could be better, but the staff were friendly and we had a really great stay.
