The price was reasonable, and the hotel offers breakfast and two king-size beds they call “Family Size.” But I wouldn’t stay again with bed bugs crawling onto the pillow at night. The bathroom mirror was murky, and “Chang Hong” ads kept coming up on the TV. The Wi-Fi was very slow too. When we spotted the bugs, the room phone wouldn’t connect, so my friend went down to get room service. At first he didn’t believe us. I used my phone light to show the bed seam, which was dirty and full of bugs and eggs. He took the pillowcases off and went to get Baygon, but left without replacing the pillowcases or blankets. I had to follow him and remind him, and he apologized for forgetting.

Breakfast came to the rooms and had a good range of choices. The hostel is affordable and right in downtown Kediri. The room was clean, with older furniture that was kept in good condition. Wi-Fi and cable TV are available.

The breakfast was tasty, but we got a midnight surprise from lots of bed bugs. The phone didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi was so slow that I couldn’t get online.

A few renovations and better Wi-Fi would make this hotel easy to recommend to anyone visiting Aloon-Aloon Kediri.

The room was clean and the service was good, though meal requests took a while to get a response.
