The garden and pool are gorgeous, and the location is amazing and quiet, within walking distance of a waterfall. The room was clean and really pretty too. The owners and their family are so sweet, helpful, and friendly. The people are as lovely as the place. Thanks so much for everything, I’ll be back 😊 Breakfast was delicious too 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. I recommend it 100%.

Yoga and Merry are wonderful hosts, attentive and doing everything with care. If we return to Bali, we’ll stay here again, nowhere else. For me, it’s paradise. I haven’t slept this deeply in a long time. Breakfast comes right to the door of your room, which is like a little house with a veranda where you eat facing the pool and nature. The pool isn’t big, but it’s very clean, as is the rest of this beautiful place. Our room was lovely and private, with a spacious, spotless bathroom. It had everything we needed: a fridge, air conditioning, smart TV, and Wi-Fi that worked perfectly. They can arrange airport pickup and drop-off, and you can rent a motorbike right there. It’s true the place isn’t central or near the beaches, but being away from the noise and crowds suited us. With a motorbike, getting around was easy, and the trips back and forth weren’t complicated. We filled the tank for €1.50, haha, and after three days of going everywhere we hadn’t even used half of it.

Merry and Kouma’s is one of the nicest places to stay near Ubud, especially if you want to be away from the crowds. It’s calm, with a lush garden, a family feel, and plenty of helpful tips. Putu is always around, smiling and ready to help.

I really enjoyed my stay at this guest house. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Merry, the owner, was kind and attentive from the start and made us feel at home. The place is close enough to get around by bike while still being quiet enough to relax. I appreciated the friendly vibe and personal care, and would definitely recommend it.
