We were sad to leave Sierra vista 1, and we’ll definitely come back. The villa has beautiful views, especially over the rice patty fields in the morning with freshly brewed coffee made by the butler. The evening tokek and gecko sounds around Ubud are quite musical, too. We loved having daily breakfast with a choice of local dishes, and two butlers looking after us. The driver arranged by the booking agency made sightseeing easy, and Ubud is about a 15-minute drive away. The staff’s local restaurant suggestions were all 5 star, and the chef-prepared dinner at the villa was a great evening. There’s also a mini bar with si dry and drinks at very reasonable prices, handy for a cocktail and snack.
