I checked in at 11 pm and paid for breakfast for three people. In the morning, an unfriendly staff member, a woman with long hair, insisted the price covered only two. The night staff had been clueless and lied. Worst hotel and staff. Please find somewhere else.

The room was in the worst condition I've ever seen, and the staff were absolutely rude. I get the impression they don't want tourists. Don't go!

The bed was comfortable, and the blanket was nice too. Since I was only in Kendari for two days, getting some good sleep mattered most to me, and I liked the room overall. There were some problems, though. Cobwebs sat in several corners, and the sink looked neglected because its sides hadn't been sealed. The shower drain had no filter, so small animals and insects could come up through it. There also wasn't a holder for the toilet hose, which kept falling onto the floor. Some furnishings looked quite worn, including the air conditioner, but it stayed cool and seemed safe to use. I stayed two days and one night.

Please ask the manager at Benua Kendari Hotel to speak with the employee named Leni. She shouldn't keep flirting with my husband. I ask that she follow the SOP. Women who want to get to know a man should first find out whether he's married. Ms. Leni, that was really bad of you. 🙏
