Hotel Dafam Savvoya Seminyak

The deluxe room with pool access was nice, with lots of space and an outdoor shower. The superior room, though, felt too small, and so did the bed.

We couldn't handle staying more than three nights and ended up losing our money when we had to move to another hotel. We complained about everything and were given a deluxe bedroom, but that was still dirty. The breakfast selection was very limited. The pool was dirty and had broken tiles. The outdoor area shown on Booking looked nice and cozy, but in reality it was dirty and broken, and those red sofas in the pictures weren't there. Staff smoked at reception, lay on the reception sofa like they were at home, and made a lot of noise at night. The room looked like a haunted house, as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The shower had stains, the toilet and sheets were dirty, the walls were worn, and the curtains were ripped. The photos on the booking app didn't match reality at all. A modest place would have been fine for us, but this was nasty.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. But during my August 2024 stay, the first room had oil marks and hair on the bed, especially under the pillow. I asked to switch rooms twice and found the same thing in both. I finally asked them to change the sheets while I watched. I know the room was very cheap, and can accept bathroom stains and other imperfections, but the sheets should at least be cleaned and replaced regularly.

The room smelled bad and was pretty disgusting, with mold, a broken shower, and stained sheets. There wasn't much good about the place. The location and staff were the only positives, though Indonesian people are always nice.
