I just got home and I'm still tired, but I wanted to thank everyone at the equilibra hotel. The staff were so well trained and lovely that I felt at home. It's right in central Seminyak, near a bar, restaurant, club, beach bar and supermarket, yet it was quiet and we couldn't hear any noise. My room had its own swimming pool, and breakfast was brought there every morning. The food was nice, though honestly I was disappointed by restaurants outside and would have been happy eating at the hotel. The spa was really good too. I had a Bali spa treatment and facial, and fell asleep. They use expensive products that I loved, and the staff were professional. I tried a spa outside as well and was very disappointed, so I'd stick with the hotel spa. The room was super clean, cleaned twice a day, and I always had drinking water. I've stayed at a lot of 5-6 star hotels around the world, but this one still impressed me a lot. On my last day I wasn't feeling well, and an employee helped buy some basic medicine for me. Big recommendation for anyone staying in Seminyak. Thanks again for making my time in Bali memorable.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was amazing. The staff at this villa are fantastic and nothing seems too much trouble. The only part we didn't enjoy was the driveway up to the villas, with so many bikes. Thanks for making our stay special. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone.

The design of this place is something else, and it's close to everything in Seminyak while staying quiet. I've visited Seminyak many times, and this is easily the best location I've stayed in. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help. The service is second to none, so a big shout-out to all of them. I enjoyed the spa, though it may cost a little more than others. The stairs in the villas are very steep, which could be difficult for older guests or anyone with a disability. Besides that, A+++.

We spent eight nights in the Waterfall villa, and it suited us perfectly. It's a 30-second walk from one of Seminyak's busiest streets, close to shops and all the action, but we couldn't hear the nearby clubs from inside. The villa was gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. I loved watching and listening to the pool spill over like a waterfall while I lay in bed with the doors open. The daily breakfasts were impressive. We could order through WhatsApp, choose a time, and they'd be waiting upstairs in our villa the next morning. We also had two treatments at Equalize Spa. My husband used the gym every day, and I swam laps in the enormous main pool before having cocktails brought to my sunbed. One small suggestion: a mini fridge in the Waterfall villa bedroom would save trips up the stairs to the kitchen whenever we wanted a cold drink. After a few days, that got annoying, though I know it sounds lazy. There were a few problems. We'd booked an airport pickup, but couldn't find the driver when we arrived in Bali. We walked around for about 20 minutes before the driver turned up. We hadn't been given a WhatsApp number for the hotel, so we had to decide whether to keep waiting or take a taxi. The swipe-card battery on our villa door died twice and left us locked out, once at 12:30 a.m. Each time it took about 10 minutes to fix. The safe battery also died, and we had to wait for someone to come repair it. Each issue on its own was minor, but together they weren't what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Our villa hosts apologized and offered us a free one-hour couples massage, which we gladly accepted. The staff were incredibly kind and nothing was a problem for them. Housekeeping left thoughtful little gifts every day, and I brought some home to Australia. We'd happily stay here again next time we're in Seminyak, and I've been telling everyone I know who's coming to Bali soon how much we liked the hotel.
