We had a lovely time here. The staff were attentive, helpful and lovely, and the villa has a beautiful pool and garden. The rooms were clean, with nice space and roomy beds, and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. There was one small snag on the last day: the TV stopped working and couldn’t be fixed that day. Still, we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back. Thanks so much to the staff.

We booked this villa for my 21st birthday, and it was so good that I made a note to myself to leave a review. It’s a short walk to Seminyak’s main street, Eat Street, with live bands, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, street markets and great massage salons. We stayed in two different places, and I wanted to return to Villa Raquel straight away. Every room had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver, and the pool was a great depth for keeping cool both day and night. A big thank you to the lovely Balinese woman who kept the house and cooked breakfast for my family every morning. She decorated the villa for my birthday and made us a beautiful traditional Balinese dinner, plus a Black Forest cake. I’d absolutely come back and recommend this villa to friends and family.

The helper refused to serve the breakfast that was included, saying she was supposed to have Sundays off. That seems like a very strange way to run a tourism business. The service was bad.
