The staff really stepped up when our electricity went out. One of them drove for over an hour to help switch the fuse back on, and we appreciated that a lot. The villa was spacious and beautiful, with plenty of potential, but a few upkeep problems got in the way. There was a blood stain on a pillowcase when we arrived, ants showed up on the bed, and the floor still felt dusty after cleaning. Water drained very slowly from the sink, and the toilet flush was unreliable. Better housekeeping and maintenance would make this a lovely place to stay.

The pool was fantastic, and breakfast was simple but tasty. We found the villa peaceful and quiet, even though it was easy to get to everything happening in Seminyak. The staff were wonderful with the children and did a great job keeping the place clean and in order. It's a beautiful villa in a great spot.

The villa itself was clean and in a good location, and we could walk to Seminyak Square in under 10 minutes. I was told by the senior staff member that it was a very long walk, though, and she didn't know much about the local area when I asked. I was also disappointed that the staff didn't buy balloons after I asked for them for my son's 4th birthday. They cooked breakfast and cleaned, then sat outside until the end of their shift. Breakfast was average, just eggs and toast, with no bacon, which didn't feel worth the villa's price. Staff at other villas I've stayed in were more engaged, offered drinks, chatted and shared local advice, so we tipped them generously. The villa itself was lovely, but the service here let us down.
