Clean and tidy, with a friendly owner and staff. The service was high quality, and the atmosphere was nice. A great place in Tetebatu to stay, eat, drink, and have fun.

I was travelling solo and looking for a cheap hostel, so getting a private double bed for 150k a night was a nice surprise. I walked in and got a discounted rate. The room was clean enough, with a basic toilet and shower but no hot water. The owners were helpful and nice, and breakfast toastie was included.

The sunrise was pretty decent, and the way back down was superb. The climb itself is an easy route for hikers at any level. Just keep in mind the price varies between 300-350k rupiah. Don't pay more than that.

My room had a lovely lake view and good Wi-Fi. It's modest, but cheap enough for the area, and the owner is a very pleasant lady. There's no restaurant here now, though warung lastri is nearby and serves great food. P.S. The Damri bus stops out front and goes as far as Bangli for 20k.

We were picked up at the junction and paid 200k for the room. They also arranged a Mount Batur climb for us, but at 400k per person I felt we'd overpaid, or maybe been taken advantage of. The stay itself was okayish.
