Sasando Residence Kupang

The location is handy, with food stalls nearby and a supermarket too, and the room was quite spacious. But the room felt neglected, especially the bathroom. Water ran fine, though the toilet seat was loose and the broken bowl had to be flushed manually. A damp smell filled the room and made it hard to sleep, and the sheets smelled bad too. Air from the AC leaked into the room. I paid for two days but couldn't stay any longer and left. The service wasn't that great either.

It's peaceful here, with lovely surroundings and a spot right in the heart of Kupang. The facilities are complete, and the service is friendly and excellent. I'd highly recommend it for families looking for somewhere to stay.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the service left a bad impression. I booked through an app, planning to stay six days. Since online check-in was only available one night at a time, I checked in for the first night, then tried to check in again the next day. The hotel blocked it over a price difference between its rate and the app's, even though plenty of rooms were still available, including the one I'd already stayed in. The hotel and the app should sort out their pricing between themselves instead of making guests deal with it. I had to confirm things for a refund, and that was incredibly complicated. If the apps are causing the hotel a loss, they should stop working with them. My suggestion is to improve customer service.

A safe room that's suitable for a short stay and free from raids.
