Alaya Dedaun Kuta

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed, and we keep coming back. The villas are comfortable and clean, and the staff are lovely and helpful. They’re happy to chat, laugh, say hello, and help however they can. It’s surprising to find a place like this just off one of the main streets in Legian/Kuta. There are a couple of 'Rodney' the Roosters nearby. They sleep at night, though sometimes crow early in the morning. If that wakes you, you can always have a nanny nap in the arvo. 🙃

We loved the private pool at the villa, and both the villa and resort rooms were spacious, immaculate, and had all the amenities we needed. During our recent stays at Alaya Dadaun Kuta and Alaya Resort Ubud, the tropical atmosphere felt tranquil and relaxing, and we slept comfortably every night. The locations worked perfectly for sightseeing. We also enjoyed spa treatments individually and as a couple in the calm, beautiful spa rooms. In-room breakfast and dining were excellent, with a delicious range of food and drinks. Management and staff at both places were friendly and respectful. Their great service and warm smiles made for a lovely start to each day. We’ll definitely return. Thank you to everyone at Alaya for a memorable stay.

We spent a week here in Nov 25 and will definitely return. The bed was incredible, the bathroom was excellent, and the pool was clean and inviting. We also found the food high quality and tasty, and the spa was welcoming with excellent staff. The location feels private and safe, with easy access to the shops on the streetfront. Staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, and professional.

The villas have private pools, and breakfast is served in the villa each day. I’d recommend paying extra for the floating breakfast, it’s worth it. We also enjoyed the lush tropical grounds and even spotted squirrels jumping between the trees. Each villa having the guest’s name on it was a nice surprise. At Alaya Dedaun in Legian/Kuta, the friendly, well-trained staff made us feel at home right away. The villa was a great mix of luxury and privacy, and the stay went beyond what we expected. Management and the owner should be proud of their professional, welcoming team and take good care of them.
