Aleva Villa Seminyak by Ini Vie Hospitality

After exploring Bali, it was great to have a quiet place to unwind. We stayed at Aleva Villa, Seminyak, during our trip and enjoyed the private pool. Calm and simple, with a really nice day overall.

Prita, our host and coordinator, made a real difference. She handled every request, even last-minute services, and kept checking that we were comfortable. Her thoughtful, caring approach made the stay memorable. The team welcomed us warmly from the start. Aleva Villa was spotless, lovely to look at, and gave us plenty of privacy in the middle of Seminyak. If you want a comfortable, luxurious-feeling place with a homely touch and very welcoming staff, I’d recommend it for couples or anyone after a memorable Bali stay.

The management did apologize when we raised our concerns. They offered a floating breakfast and afternoon tea the next day, and gave us a souvenir at checkout, which we appreciated. Still, for a villa presented as five star, housekeeping and maintenance need a lot of work. The price is high compared with other villas, and I expected better cleanliness, sanitation, and facilities. The room was dirty, with dust and bits on the floor. The bin wasn't emptied regularly, and we found rubbish left by a previous guest under and beside the bed, so the housekeeping didn't seem thorough. The bathroom drain was blocked and the floor flooded after every shower. The air conditioning was poorly maintained. Even set to 16 degrees with the fan on full, the room stayed hot for a while before it cooled enough for us to sleep comfortably. Pool towels weren't supplied either, and we had to ask for them. With a private pool, I expected towels to already be available in the villa.

The quiet setting and convenient access to restaurants, shops, and beaches made our October honeymoon especially relaxing. We loved the private pool, and the roomy bedroom and bathroom gave it a romantic feel. The staff were warm when we arrived and took care with every request. The villa was modern, beautiful, private, and spotless, with details that made it comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and would definitely return for another romantic getaway.
